Oscilloscopes with isolated channels

Chauvin Arnoux's oscilloscopes with isolated channels are equipped with a patented digital technology.

This digital isolation system means that the instruments can be used on the same input terminals and acquisition lines for the oscilloscope and multimeter modes. In this way, users can switch from one instrument to the other without changing the measurement connections.  Equipped with 2 or 4 channels which are isolated between one another, but also in relation the earth (600 V CAT III). We propose two oscilloscope ranges:

The Handscope models: 2 isolated channels with 20 and 40 MHz bandwidth

The Scopix models: 2 or 4 channels with 60 to 300 MHz bandwidth.

These instruments can be used for measurements in total safety on systems where the circuits are sometimes at different potentials. When used with their Probix accessories, these oscilloscopes, offer guaranteed active safety: users are informed about the instrument's limits: insulationà leurs accessoires Probix, offrent une sécurité active garantie : l’utilisateur est renseigné sur les limites de l’appareil: insulation voltage, maximum rated voltage.

Chauvin Arnoux Energy presents its two new T82N FAR1210B and T82N JAR1211B transducers

Since 1982, more than 100,000 transducers have been produced in Chauvin Arnoux Energy's factories, guaranteeing all the stages in the manufacturing process from design through to shipment to the customer. Chauvin Arnoux Energy's transducers are fitted on energy generation sites and in the substations of transmission networks all over the world.

To complete the range, the new T82N FAR and JAR models have recently been redesigned to comply with the latest version of the IEC 60688 standard. They will be used for critical process monitoring applications in the demanding environments encountered in nuclear power generation.

The rugged design of our T82N FAR and T82N JAR analog transducers

Unlike digital transducers, analog transducers can be used in sensitive environments such as nuclear power plants. They are rugged, proven products without programmable digital components.

The T82N FAR can be used to measure the frequency of the AC electrical grid. The T82N JAR can be used to measure the phase shift between the voltage and current on a single-phase AC electrical grid.

These two transducers format these primary measurements as a 4-20mA or 0-10VDC process signal configurable when ordering. This is ideal for PLCs and other electrical systems at the core of the control processes.

K3 qualification of the T82N FAR and T82N JAR transducers

Due to the safety constraints, the nuclear sector is very demanding with regard to equipment. K3 qualification is required for certain equipment, depending on where they are installed.

Five steps are necessary to obtain K3 certification  : electrical tests, EMC, temperature, seismic tests and growth of whiskers, thus guaranteeing that the equipment developed by Chauvin Arnoux Energy fully complies with the regulations governing sensitive environments and fulfils the safety requirements.

Discovering the professions at Manumesure: this week, spotlight on Florence Deterpigny

Florence DETERPIGNY – Administrative Supervisor, Manumesure agency in Reux (Normandy)

  • What are your main tasks?

-An organizational and managerial dimension

One of my main jobs involves managing the secretariat of the agency at Reux in Normandy, which comprises 4 secretaries, 1 warehouse technician and 3 repair technicians, thus explaining the managerial dimension.

I am involved in certain recruitments and training the new secretaries engaged by Manumesure agencies, mainly in Reux and the North region.

I contribute to the discussions on organization of the Manumesure Agency secretariats in the North region, which means travelling.

-An administrative dimension

My responsibilities also include management of the invoicing and co-ordination of the different lead times requested by the various customers (Manumesure agencies and external France and Export customers) with the les agencies' different departments/laboratories.

I am also involved in preparing dossiers with EU and non-EU export customers for importation of their equipment for Manumesure and management of the payments.

  • Do you work with other departments and external partners?

Yes I do, and that's what makes my job interesting. I have frequent contact with Chauvin Arnoux's management, production/manufacturing, industrialization, quality and R&D departments, as well as Chauvin Arnoux Export's administrative services in Reux and Asnières.

I am also in contact with Chauvin Arnoux's Customer Relations Contacts (CRCs) for France and Export sales to help with the tariffs, feasibility requests and lead-time requests for customer orders.

I work every day with the agency manager and the technicians at the Reux agency, and I occasionally work with the manager of the North region , as well as the other agencies in France and the Sales Engineers.

Inside the Chauvin Arnoux Group, I have contact with all the subsidiaries, as well as our EU and non-EU Export customers.

  • What do you like most at Manumesure?

I like the diversity of our activities and our determination to grow while maintaining close managerial relations.

Dear Subscribers,

As January rolls around, we say goodbye to 2023 and look forward to the promises and surprises in store for 2024. We have left the fun of the festive season behind us to dive once again into the flood of New Year news and resolutions, whether personal or professional.

Nevertheless, it's worth taking a little time to review the year which has just ended.

For the Chauvin Arnoux Group, 2023 was a year of innovations and challenges made all the more memorable because we were celebrating our 130 years in business. A legitimate source of pride! Here, you can find a look back at the patents filed, the anecdotes rediscovered and the inventions which have marked the centuries in aviation, rail transport, photography, electrical measurement, etc., as well as the women and men who came into contact with the passionate founders of Chauvin Arnoux.

From the technological advances boosting our measuring instruments, in-line inspection solutions and our energy management equipment to the geopolitical upheavals which have shaken our world, 2023 was an exciting ride!

It is now time to take stock. Of the daring predictions that we shared last year, with new products, the market launch of new energy testing and control solutions and major nuclear projects, some have succeeded beyond our dreams. So it's difficult to guess what 2024 will bring us.

So what can we expect in the next few months? The beginning of this year is marked by our determination to strengthen our bonds with you. In this context, you will be able to meet us at the HyVolution trade at the end of January at Paris, Porte de Versailles, and discover Pyrocontrole's offering for the hydrogen value chain. You can see the teams from Spectralys at the CIFIA trade fair in Rennes for the presentation of their environmental quality testers, Aqualys and Floralys. After that, in March, there will be Forum Labo in Lyon, where you can meet Chauvin Arnoux's electrochemistry branch and check out the environmental measurement services proposed by Manumesure. We will also be present internationally, at Middle East Energy in April, in a booth shared by our Middle East subsidiary and Chauvin Arnoux Energy. Lastly, for this first quarter of the year, Indatech will be at the France Bioproduction Congress to invite you to discover the new spectral measurement sensors for in-line inspection of the physical and chemical properties of both liquids and solids.

Stay tuned as we explore together the first few pages of this exciting new chapter.

Enjoy your reading !
