Pyrocontrole raises the temperature for automatic pizza machines

Thanks to partnerships with automatic pizza distributor manufacturers, Pyrocontrole, part of the Chauvin Arnoux Group is helping to develop the concept of "pizza from a machine". Installed in cities, these self-service distributors provide delicious hot pizzas 24/7. In this machine, Pyrocontrole's STATOP temperature controller is the key to guaranteeing the precise cooking process you need to ensure top quality.

Once it has been taken from the cold room, the pizza undergoes fast, intensive cooking in a forced-air oven, supervised by our STATOP controller.

How long before the same principle is applied to French fries?

Our new GridWatch offer installed on our own production site in Vire (France)!

The Chauvin Arnoux Group has several production sites in France, and notably in Normandy: near Pont-L’Evêque, at Villedieu les Poêles and at Vire.

The Vire production site is more especially dedicated to processing plastics and producing mechanical parts. Equipped with cutting-edge machine-tools, the site manufactures the casings of Chauvin Arnoux Energy's Enerium power monitors and Triad transducers, as well as other elements.  Similarly, the current transformers for tariff metering are manufactured entirely at Vire.

Control and optimization of the electrical power supply is essential in any industrial process, as for the transformer stations in the electrical distribution networks. So it was natural for us to install our new GridWatch offer, designed to supervise MV/LV transformer stations, on our own production site.

The temperatures of the transformer and the medium-voltage cells are thus constantly monitored and analyzed, along with the energy flows.

A quick roll-out enabled us to confirm one of GridWatch's major strengths: the power supply was only cut off for half a day to hook up the solution! The production line was therefore maintained.

Pyrocontrole, French and proud of it!

Launched in 2017 by the Ministry of the Economy, the aim of this "La French Fab" label is to stimulate French industrial growth, sector by sector, to ensure they are capable of meeting the numerous challenges facing industry today. This will also help to accompany the transformations taking place worldwide, both in environmental and societal terms and in terms of R&D and Export business.

With its 100% French know-how, Pyrocontrole is a perfect match for La French Fab, with its 5 pillars identified as growth levers: ecological transformation, the industry of the future, innovation, employment/training/CSR and international business.

Whether focusing on new technologies, on the modernization and digitalization of production tools, on training young people with know-how and new skills, on performance on the environmental aspects (of both the products and production methods), or conquering new markets abroad, the member companies of La French Fab are aware that their success requires adaptation to these new economic parameters.

HEALLPVC extension for XR41, XR42 & XR43 electrodes

This simple, practical extension is an essential accessory for accurate measurements.

WHAT'S IT FOR?
An extension for reference electrodes is a protection which prevents the electrode from polluting its environment and vice versa.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
It's actually an electrolytic bridge simulating immersion of the reference electrode directly in the medium without really doing so. The protective layer around the electrode provided by the extension cause a slight ohmic  fall (resistance x current in the solution), which helps to significantly reduce direct fouling and contamination. The extension must be filled with the electrolyte and the solvent of the solution to be measured.

WHEN SHOULD IT BE USED?
In aqueous solutions with chlorides, an extension must be fitted to use the XR41. In non-aqueous media, thanks to the extension you do not need to change the solvent of the reference.

AND IN PRACTICE?
You half fill the extension with the electrolyte and the solvent of the solution. You then insert insert the sensor with a certain force (after first removing the sensor hydration cap). Only the ceramic part of the sensor should be immersed in the solution placed in the extension. You can finish filling via the opening on the body of the extension with a syringe.
Compatible with a large number of models, this extension can be used in particular with the XR41, XR42 and XR43 electrodes.

SIIRA, Pyrocontrole passes on its expertise to the pupils of Descartes High School

Pyrocontrole took part in the 8th edition of the Industrial Instrumentation Fair (Salon Industriel de l’Instrumentation - SIIRA) in Rhône-Alpes, France, held from February 1st to 4th, 2022, at René Descartes High School in Saint-Genis-Laval. This gave Pyrocontrole an opportunity to present its products and temperature solutions while giving an overview of the industrial measurement professions.

Throughout the week, the students were able to handle  STATOP and THYRITOP controllers and Pyrocontrole temperature sensors, in close collaboration with our experienced professionals. Our experts also focused on Pyrocontrole's solutions for measurements in liquid and gaseous hydrogen production and distribution lines.

SIIRA is the regional trade fair dedicated to the world of instrumentation and control, bringing together more than fifteen companies, with the aim of fostering meetings between industrial companies and students studying Industrial control systems and automatic control (BTS CIRA).

This event enabled Pyrocontrole to raise the students' awareness of the various professions on offer in the company and any unfilled jobs.
