CHAUVIN ARNOUX - 125 ans d'innovation

CHAUVIN ARNOUX takes over HEITO's electrochemical business

The French company HEITO, founded in 1948, is one of the last French industrial companies in the field of electrochemical measuring instruments, such as pH-meters, redox, conductivity meters, oxygen analysers, probes and electrodes. These instruments are aimed mainly at the Education market, laboratories, R&D centres, industries and environmental testing organizations.

HEITO and CHAUVIN ARNOUX have signed an agreement transferring HEITO's electrochemical business to CHAUVIN ARNOUX. Instead of simply selling off HEITO's electrochemical measurement branch, this agreement sets up a partnership for the transfer of know-how and expertise between the two companies.

HEITO will continue its other industrial activities, and particularly the manufacture of bimetal thermostats with fixed settings, sold under the VIGITHERME brand, for professional electronics and electrical engineering applications in a variety of fields: aviation, defence, transport equipment, fire safety, frost protection, etc.

At the same time, CHAUVIN ARNOUX, now a major worldwide force in the measurement sector and one of the leaders in portable electrical measurement instrumentation, intends to take advantage of this new technological expertise to enhance its offering.

In the electrochemical sector, MANUMESURE, a subsidiary of CHAUVIN ARNOUX, is the only French company which offers COFRAC-certified buffer solutions for pH measurement as reference materials

The industrial group Chauvin Arnoux, founded in 1893, manufactures its products on its own sites, and particularly in its factories in Normandy which will handle production of this new product range.

Caméra Thermique C.A 1954

Pyrocontrole has won the A3TS Innovation Prize!

Pyrocontrole won this prize, awarded by professionals, by presenting its 4-loop Statop 704 controller solution coupled with the CPS Touch HMI.

A fine reward for a brand new controller which has joined the Statop 500 and 600 Series in the range launched at the end of 2017.

The Statop 704 offers a large number of innovations:
-	control in screenless mode
- 4 PID control loops in a compact module
- quick-connection plug-in terminal strips
- compatibility with fieldbuses: Profibus, Profinet, etc.
- DIN-rail mounting
- easy maintenance

The advantage of this coupled solution lies in the use of a high-performance controller, capable of adapting to all types of applications, alongside an HMI. It offers 4 independent PID temperature loops and additional inputs/outputs allowing multizone control. When used with CPS Touch, operators can view the whole process, record the data, configure the instrument or modify the alarms. The interface is available in several formats.

When used with the CPS Touch HMI (Human-Machine Interface), this solution gives operators access to a large number of parameters:

- Control / acquisition / configuration views
- "Open" application customizable by customers.

The aim of this solution is provide customers with a "Plug and Play" ready-to-use package of 4 STATOP704+CPSTOUCH control loops for quick installation while reducing costs.

Pyrocontrole is in the running for the 2018 SVTM Innovation Prize!

Pyrocontrole will be taking part in the SVTM Vacuum Technologies and Materials Treatment Exhibition from 13th to 14th June 2018 at the Palais des Congrès in Bordeaux. This trade fair is an opportunity to meet the players in vacuum and material treatment technologies.

For the 2018 edition, the exhibitors and participants will be able to take part in jointly-organized events, such as the 45th Thermal Treatment and Surface Treatment Conference and the 15th Congress of the Plasmas Division presented by the Société Française de Physique (SFP).
This year, Pyrocontrole has decided to participate in the 2018 SVTM Innovation Prize. In this context, Pyrocontrole will be exhibiting the new STATOP 704, the controller with 4 independent PID loops used with the CPS Touch range of new-generation Human-Machine Interfaces.

A range of temperature controlloers for each requirement

Pyrocontrole has developed a comprehensive range of new-generation temperature controllers, comprising the STATOP 500 Series PID controllers with 3 models (548, 589, 596), the STATOP 600 Series dual-loop PID controllers with 3 models (648, 689, 696) and the STATOP 704 with 4 independent PID loops.

The STATOP 704 used with the new-generation Human-Machine Interfaces in the CPS Touch range.

For the 2018 SVTM Innovation Prize, Pyrocontrole will be presenting its STATOP 704 controller covering multiple applications ("blind-mode" control, multi-zone control, temperature control and process control), which is capable of working with the CPS Touch range. Linked via the Ethernet port, the operator can use this new generation of Human-Machine Interfaces to fain access to the data and record them, modify the alarms and the temperature, etc.
